The anime series ''Eyeshield 21'' is based on the manga series of the same name written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Yusuke Murata. The series is directed by Masayoshi Nishida and produced by TV Tokyo, NAS and Gallop. The plot of the episodes follows Sena Kobayakawa, a student who becomes an American football player against his desire but eventually becomes the star of the team, wearing an eyeshield to protect his identity. Before the anime series was aired, Production I.G announced in August 2003 the production of an original video animation (OVA) that was released on Jump Festa Anime Tour 2003. The production of anime ''Eyeshield 21'' was announced by ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'' at the end of 2004. ''Eyeshield 21'' aired between April 6, 2005, and March 19, 2008, on TV Tokyo. An eyeshield is a piece of football equipment that is also referred to as a visor that was created in the 1980s. In the mid 1990s as an effort to prevent brain and head injuries, headgear became mandatory in the game of football. The eyeshield was created to protect the eyes of football players during games and practices. It is a curved piece of plastic that attaches to the front of a football helmet. Toonami Jetstream
Toonami Jetstream was an ad-supported online broadband streaming service and a remake of Toonami's previous video streaming service Toonami Reactor provided by Cartoon Network and Viz Media. It hosted various Toonami hits and had music videos, game reviews, and a comment box. It premiered July 17, 2006. Toonami Jetstream was only available in the United States. A computer with Windows 2000 SP4+, Windows XP, Windows Vista or Mac OS X, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 (or higher) or Mozilla Firefox 1.5 (or higher), Adobe Flash 9, and a broadband connection were required. V6 (band)
was a six-member Japanese boy band formed by Johnny & Associates. The group debuted on November 1, 1995, with the single "Music for the People", which was used as the image song for the World Cup of Volleyball in 1995.
