Thomas Acda
Thomas Acda (born Amsterdam, 6 March 1967) is a Dutch singer, actor and comedian, known as former member of the duo Acda en De Munnik. Acda grew up in De Rijp and after graduating high school at havo level, Acda started the theater school, but soon switched to the Kleinkunstacademie in Amsterdam. There he met Paul de Munnik. They finished school in 1993 with a joint project for which they were awarded the Pisuisse-prize. After that they split up and went their own way. In 1995, Acda en De Munnik came together to make a theater show with the name ''Zwerf'On''. The show was a success, and they were asked to put the songs from the show on CD. From that moment on, Acda en the Munnik were involved in both music and theater. Acda was active on several projects. He was in the band Herman en Ik. Armin Jozef Jacobus Daniël van Buuren ( , ; born 25 December 1976) is a Dutch DJ and record producer from Leiden, South Holland. Since 2001, he has hosted ''A State of Trance'' (ASOT), a weekly radio show, which is broadcast to nearly 40 million listeners in 84 countries on over 100 FM radio stations. Frans Bauer
François (Frans) Bauer (born 30 December 1973 in Roosendaal as François van Dooren) is a Dutch singer of "levenslied" (Dutch Schlager). Biography Frans Bauer was born as François van Dooren, after his mother Wies van Dooren who wasn't married to his father Chris Bauer (1944-2015) at the time. From an early age, Frans Bauer was determined to become a singer. His great idols are Julio Iglesias, Elvis Presley and Koos Alberts. By the latter, he was sometimes brought on stage to sing along with ''Ik verscheurde je foto'' (''I tore up your photo''). Blasterjaxx is a Dutch DJ and record producer duo composed of Thom Jongkind (born 1990) and Idir Makhlaf (born 1991), originated in The Hague and active since 2010. They are mostly known for producing big room house and electro house music, being more active in the first genre. History In 2010, Thom Jongkind, known professionally as Scalix, formed a duo called Blasterjaxx with producer Leon Vielvoije, who left soon after joining. Jongkind then continued under the Blasterjaxx name and started collaborating with Idir Makhlaf, known professionally as Macosta. Olav Basoski (born 1968, Haarlem, Netherlands) is a Dutch DJ, remixer, house music producer and trainer in Electronic dance music techniques. He is best known for records such as "Windows" (1991), "Don't turn your back on me" (1993), "Opium Scumbagz" (2000) and "Waterman" (2005). Biography Originated from a musical family, he was pushed to play the violin and the piano. In the mid-80s, he was listening to the radio at night and heard a disco record, when suddenly he realised he was listening to a different record, this was his first experience of mixing records. Lodewijk Ferdinand Dieben (19 April 1890, in The Hague – 24 June 1959, in Zandvoort), better known under his pseudonym Lou Bandy, was a Dutch singer and conferencier who was one of the most popular artists in the Netherlands, between both world wars. Jimmy Johannes Bakkum (born 10 August 1987) is a Dutch singer, actor, stage actor and television personality. Rising to nationwide fame after becoming runner-up in the first season of Dutch singing competition series '' Idols'', he has released five albums and made a career in musicals and film. In television, he appeared in a Dutch version of ''Dancing with the Stars'', which he won. Career As a child, Bakkum was encouraged to sing and act by his parents. George Baker (born Johannes "Hans" Bouwens, 8 December 1944) is a Dutch singer and songwriter who, with his band George Baker Selection, scored two international hits in the 1970s, "Paloma Blanca" and "Little Green Bag". Baker also recorded as a solo artist for a number of years. Childhood Bouwens was born near the end of World War II on 8 December 1944 as the son of a single mother on the Gravenstraat in Hoorn, at or near the location where Jan Pieterszoon Coen was born in 1587. Bart Zeilstra, better known by his stage name Baas B (born 10 April 1982), is a Dutch rapper and singer who was a founding member of Dutch rap formation D-Men and between 1997 and 2009, a member of the Dutch hip hop duo Lange Frans & Baas B both formed with his childhood friend Frans Frederiks better known as Lange Frans.
