Doraemon (2005 TV Series)
is the most recent anime TV series based on Fujiko F. Fujio's manga of the same name. Produced by Shin-Ei Animation and Asatsu-DK, it began airing on TV Asahi on April 15, 2005. It also airs in over 50 countries worldwide. This Doraemon anime series is sometimes referred to in Asia as the Mizuta Edition (水田版), after Wasabi Mizuta, the voice actress who voices Doraemon in this series. The anime is licensed by Viz Media for broadcast rights only. An English dub produced by Bang Zoom! Entertainment aired on Disney XD in the USA as ''Doraemon: Gadget Cat From the Future'' from July 7, 2014 until May 12, 2017. A second season of the English dub premiered on Disney XD on June 15, 2015 and ended on September 1 of the same year. TV Asahi currently holds distribution and licensing rights to Doraemon. The new film was released theatrically in Japan on 4 March 2006 & was released theatrically in United States on 10 April 2006. It's the 26th Doraemon film. The film got a private screening with English subtitles in Washington, D.C. on 14 November 2008, making it the first time Doraemon made an appearance in the US. The movie grossed over 3.28 billion yen. This movie was ranked 6th highest-grossing movie and the highest grossing animated movie in 2006 of Japan & United States. It is a retelling of the 1984 film '' Doraemon: Nobita's Great Adventure into the Underworld''. It was the second highest grossing anime movie in 2007 after '' Pokémon: The Rise of Darkrai''. Plot The story begins with Professor Mangetsu, a Japanese astrophysicist and his daughter, Miyoko, are informed and startled about the approach of a giant black hole that previously destroyed the space probe Voyager 5. Nobita And The Green Giant Legend
is a fictional character in the ''Doraemon'' anime and manga series created by Fujiko Fujio, the pen name of writing team Hiroshi Fujimoto and Motoo Abiko. He is also the main character in The Doraemons (special version).
