List Of DIC Programs
This is a list of programs produced and/or acquired by DIC Entertainment. As of 2022, most of the DIC library is currently owned by WildBrain through its in-name-only unit, Cookie Jar Group. International rights to DIC's pre-1990 library was owned by C&D Entertainment until 1996, until Saban acquired their assets and so international distribution moved to Saban International/BVS International. This remained until 2001 when Disney bought the Fox Family Worldwide franchise of libraries and assets, as well as the 75.7% majority stake in Fox Kids Europe (later renamed to Jetix Europe), making international distribution rights to its pre-1990 library moved to Disney. In March 2006, DIC Entertainment re-acquired the international rights to 20 shows of its pre-1990 library from Disney. DIC Entertainment
DIC Entertainment Corporation (; also known as DIC Audiovisuel, DIC Enterprises, DIC Animation City, DIC Entertainment, L.P., and DIC Productions), branded as The Incredible World of DIC, was an international film and television production company that was mostly associated as an animation studio. As a division of The Walt Disney Company, DIC produced live-action feature films and licensed countless anime series. On June 20, 2008, DIC was acquired by and later folded into Cookie Jar Group. The Get Along Gang
''The Get Along Gang'' is a group of characters created in 1983 by Tony Byrd, Tom Jacobs, Ralph Shaffer, Linda Edwards, Muriel Fahrion, and Mark Spangler for American Greetings' toy design and licensing division, "Those Characters from Cleveland" (now Cloudco Entertainment), for a series of greeting cards. ''The Get Along Gang'' is a group of 12 pre-adolescent anthropomorphic animal characters in the fictional town of Green Meadow, who form a club that meets in an abandoned caboose and who have various adventures whose upbeat stories were intended to show the importance of teamwork and friendship. The success of the greeting card line led to a Saturday morning television series, which aired on CBS for 13 episodes in the 1984–1985 season, with reruns showing from January to June 1986. Field Communications was an American broadcast media company and a wholly owned division of Field Enterprises, which owned the ''Chicago Sun-Times'' and the ''Chicago Daily News''. Based in Chicago, Illinois, the company owned UHF independent television stations in the United States, with WFLD-TV in Chicago as its flagship and largest-market station. Nelvana
Nelvana Enterprises, Inc. (; previously known as Nelvana Limited, sometimes known as Nelvana Animation and simply Nelvana or Nelvana Communications) is a Canadian animation studio and entertainment company owned by Corus Entertainment.
