Western Cape
The Western Cape is a province of South Africa, situated on the south-western coast of the country. Corra Dirksen
Cornelius Wilhelmus "Corra" Dirksen (22 January 1938 – 10 July 2020) was a South African rugby player. He won 10 caps and scored three tries. Biography Dirksen made his international debut against Australia in 1963. The 1967 series against France was probably his finest hour, scoring all three of his test tries against them. The French were understandably quite wary of him throughout that series, dubbing him ''Le Monster'' (The Monster). He played for the then Northern Transvaal (now Blue Bulls) and the Oostelikes (Easterns) club in Pretoria, which later merged with Adelaars to form Naka Bulls. After retiring from playing he qualified as a medical practitioner, and moved to Krugersdorp. He died from COVID-19 complications during the COVID-19 pandemic in South Africa on 10 July 2020. Mdantsane
Mdantsane is a South African urban township situated 15 km away from East London and 37 km away from Qonce in the Eastern Cape. It is the second largest township in the Eastern Cape after Ibhayi near Port Elizabeth and seventeenth largest in South Africa after Vosloorus near Boksburg, Gauteng. The name Mdantsane was derived from a stream that ran from the Nahoon River down to the Buffalo River. Some believe the stream was called Dontsane. Eastern Cape
The Eastern Cape is one of the provinces of South Africa. Its capital is Bhisho, but its two largest cities are East London and Gqeberha. Queen (iKumkanikazi) Noloyiso Sandile (born: Nomusa kaBhekuzulu Zulu; 24 July 1963 – 8 July 2020) was a South African Royal. Biography Early life Princess Nomusa kaBhekuzulu was the daughter of the then Zulu King Cyprian Bhekuzulu kaSolomon and one of his wives, Mavis Zungu, popularly known as Ndlunkulu Gwabini. KwaDukuza
KwaDukuza is a municipality in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. In 2006, the municipal name was changed to KwaDukuza (which incorporates small towns such as Stanger, Balito, Shaka's Kraal, but the Zulu people in the area called it "Dukuza" well before then. The city has been under major economical construction since 2015, having built a multi-million rand regional shopping mall in 2018. History The city was founded about 1820 by King Shaka and was named KwaDukuza ( zu, Place of the Lost Person) because of the capital's labyrinth of huts. Njabulo Ricardo Mthembu (1970 – 8 July 2020) was a South African politician. Career He was a member of the African National Congress and a representative of the party in the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature from 2019 to 2020. Mthembu served on the legislature's Portfolio Committee on Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs. Langeberg Municipality (before 28 August 2009, Breede River/Winelands Local Municipality) is a local municipality located within the Cape Winelands District Municipality in the Western Cape province of South Africa.
