The 6th Solheim Cup Match was held between 6 and 8 October 2000 at Loch Lomond Golf Club, Luss, Dunbartonshire, Scotland. Europe won the trophy for the second time, by a score of 14 to 11 points. Austin Ernst
Austin Ernst (born January 31, 1992) is an American professional golfer on the LPGA Tour. Amateur career Ernst was born in Greenville, South Carolina. She played two years for the LSU Tigers, where she won three events including the individual 2011 NCAA Division I Championship. Professional career In 2014, Ernst won the Portland Classic on the first playoff hole over In-Kyung Kim. Laura Diaz
Laura Diaz (born April 27, 1975) is an American professional golfer. Diaz was born Laura Philo in Scotia, New York. She won the 1995 North and South Women's Amateur at Pinehurst. In 1996 she won the Eastern Women's Amateur Championship and made it to the quarterfinals of the 1996 U.S. Women's Amateur. A business student at Wake Forest University, Diaz was named the university's 1997 Female Athlete of the Year. Diaz turned professional in 1997 and spent three years playing on the Futures Tour where she scored three tournament wins. She also played on the Ladies European Tour, where she was rookie of the year in 1998. She joined the LPGA Tour in 1999 and has earned two victories, both coming in the 2002 season when she had ten top-10 finishes. She has played on four Solheim Cup teams (2002, 2003, 2005, 2007). The 7th Solheim Cup Match was held between September 20 and September 22, 2002 at Interlachen Country Club, Edina, Minnesota, USA. Team USA won the trophy for the fifth time by a score of 15 to 12 points. Rosie Jones gained the winning point in her victory over Karine Icher. Beth Daniel
Beth Daniel (born October 14, 1956) is an American professional golfer. She became a member of the LPGA Tour in 1979 and won 33 LPGA Tour events, including one major championship, during her career. She is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. Early life and amateur career Daniel was born on October 14, 1956 in Charleston, South Carolina. She played her collegiate golf at Furman University, and was on the 1976 national championship team that included future LPGA players Betsy King, Sherri Turner and Cindy Ferro. In 1977, she won the Broderick Award (now the Honda Sports Award) as the nation's best female collegiate golfer.
