This page is a complete chronological listing of AFL Women's premiers. The AFL Women's (AFLW) is the elite national competition in women's Australian rules football. Each year, the premiership is awarded to the club that wins the AFL Women's Grand Final. The grand final was hosted by the minor premier in the first two seasons when no finals series existed, and was hosted by the preliminary final winner with the most premiership points (percentage would have come into consideration if points were the same) in 2019 when a conference system was in place. Since 2021, the grand final has been hosted by the higher-ranked preliminary final winner. AFL Women's (AFLW) is Australia's national semi-professional Australian rules football in Australia, Australian rules football competition for women's Australian rules football, female players. The 2020 AFL Women's season was the fourth season of the AFL Women's (AFLW) competition, the highest-level senior women's Australian rules football competition in Australia. The Australian Football League (AFL), known as the Victorian Football League (VFL) until 1989, is the elite national competition in men's Australian rules football. Springfield Central Stadium (also known due to naming rights sponsorship as Brighton Homes Arena) is an Australian rules football venue located in Springfield, a suburb of Ipswich, approximately 30 km south-west of Brisbane. The facility has been the permanent training and administrative home of professional Australian Football League (AFL) club the Brisbane Lions since 2022. The Adelaide Oval is a stadium in Adelaide in the state of South Australia. It is located in the Adelaide Parklands, parklands.
