This is a list of player transfers involving RFU Championship teams before or during the 2020–21 season. The list is of deals that are confirmed and are either from or to a rugby union team in the Championship during the 2019–20 season. It is not unknown for confirmed deals to be cancelled at a later date. On 2 April 2020, Newcastle Falcons are automatically promoted back to Premiership Rugby to replace relegated Saracens under RFU's 'best record playing formula' and due to the COVID-19 pandemic. RFU Championship
The RFU Championship is an English rugby union competition comprising twelve clubs. It is the second level of men’s English rugby and is played by both professional and semi-professional players. The competition has existed since 1987, when English clubs were first organised into leagues. Organisation and format The Championship is governed by the Rugby Football Union (RFU). The current competition format is a double round-robin tournament, where teams play each other home and away. The 2021-22 season had no playoff phase, and no team was promoted to the Premiership as no team met the minimum standards criteria. Corey Sutherland Lewis (also known as Rey or The Rey) is an American comic book creator. He is primarily known as the creator of '' Sharknife'', published by Oni Press. Maama Molitika
Maama Molitika (26 August 1974) is a Tongan former rugby union footballer. He is 6'5". He has played numerous times for the national Tongan team, making his debut in June 1997 against Fiji. He was also in the Pacific Islanders rugby union team squad that toured Europe in 2006. He played as a blind-side flanker. Molitika was born in Haʻapai in Tonga and moved to new Zealand as a teenager. After playing rugby at school in new Zealand he returned to Tong ain 1996 for a holiday, and was invited to train with the national side. In 2002–03 he was Bridgend's joint top try scorer of the season, and was a part of the team that went on to win the Welsh Premiership for the first time in the club's history. Northampton Saints
Northampton Saints (officially Northampton Rugby Football Club) is a professional rugby union club from Northampton, England. They play in Premiership Rugby, England's top division of rugby. They were formed in 1880 as "Northampton St. James", which gave them the nickname ''Saints'' from the 1880s. The team play their home games at Franklin's Gardens, in the west of the town, which has a capacity of 15,250 and play in black, green, and gold colours. Scarlets
The Scarlets () are one of the four professional Welsh rugby union teams and are based in Llanelli, Wales. Their home ground is the Parc y Scarlets stadium. They play in the United Rugby Championship and the European Rugby Champions Cup (which replaced the Heineken Cup from the 2014–15 season). The club was originally named the Llanelli Scarlets but was renamed at the start of the 2008–09 rugby season. The Llanelli Scarlets were founded in 2003, as one of the five (now four) regional teams created by the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU).
