Major League Rugby
Major League Rugby (MLR or USMLR) is a professional rugby union competition and the top-level championship for clubs in North America. In the 2022 season it was contested by thirteen teams: twelve from the United States and one from Canada. Officially sanctioned by USA Rugby—a member union of Rugby Americas North (RAN)—and consequently part of World Rugby, the league was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. With its initial beginnings as part of established amateur rugby clubs in major North American urban areas, MLR began its first season in 2018 as an initiative of the American rugby community in partnership with private investors. San Diego Legion
The San Diego Legion is an American professional rugby union team based in San Diego, California. The team was founded in 2017 and competes in Major League Rugby. Home field The team plays at Snapdragon Stadium, which is located on the campus of the San Diego State University in Mission Valley and has a seating capacity of 35,000. The stadium is also the home of San Diego State Aztecs football and San Diego Wave FC. Due to the restrictions amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the team temporarily relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, for the 2021 season. However, they would return to San Diego on April 12, 2021. The Dartmouth Rugby Football Club (or Dartmouth Rugby) is the men's college rugby team of Dartmouth College. The student-run club was founded in 1951, and competes in the Ivy Rugby Conference against its traditional Ivy League rivals. Warringah Rugby Club is a rugby union club based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, New South Wales. Only located 25 km from the city centre, the club is close to many magnificent beaches, the Sydney Academy of Sport and Narrabeen Lake. The Seattle Seawolves are an American professional rugby union team based in Tukwila, Washington. The team was founded in 2017 and competes in Major League Rugby (MLR), the top-level rugby union competition in the United States that began play in 2018. Jeff Hassler
Jeff Hassler (born 21 August 1991) is a Canadian rugby union player. He plays at wing and occasionally at the centre position for the Seattle Seawolves in Major League Rugby (MLR), and Rugby Canada's National 15s. He has 36 caps for the National squad in all contests, and former member of the Neath-Swansea, Ospreys. Hassler is an Alberta native having attended Holy Trinity Academy in the southern foothill town of Okotoks. As a youth he excelled at all sports but in particular Canadian football and Rugby. Sebastian de Chaves (born 30 October 1990) is a South African rugby union footballer who plays for Austin Gilgronis of Major League Rugby (MLR). He plays as a Lock.
