''The Unholy Alliance'' (; literally "Alliance") is an action crime- thriller television drama created by Jazz Boon and TVB. Principal photography began in Hong Kong in September 2016, and continued in Taiwan in December 2016. It premiered on TVB Jade on 7 August 2017, and for MediaCorp's Channel U in July 2019, and ran for 28 episodes. Jessica Hester Hsuan (; PA: syn hyn, also known as Suen Huen, is a Hong Kong actress. Early life Hsuan's father gave her the name Jessica, while her mother gave her the middle name Hester. She was educated in Hong Kong at Maryknoll Convent School for primary education and at Pooi To Middle School. She later boarded at Roedean School in Britain. Mat Yeung Ming (born 27 February 1981) is a Hong Kong television actor known for his roles as Lui Ting in ''Screen Play'' (2000), as Wan Po-yu in ''The 'W' Files'' (2003), as Tin Hoi in ''Be Home for Dinner'' (2011), and as Senior Inspector Jasper Kong in '' Master of Play'' (2012). Matthew Ho Kwong-pui (born 3 August 1988) is a Hong Kong people, Hong Kong actor and television presenter contracted to TVB. He had asthma when he was young.
