Donetsk
Donetsk ( , ; uk, Донецьк, translit=Donets'k ; russian: Донецк ), formerly known as Aleksandrovka, Yuzivka (or Hughesovka), Stalin and Stalino (see also: Names of European cities in different languages (C–D), cities' alternative names), is an industrial city in eastern Ukraine located on the Kalmius River in Donetsk Oblast. The population was estimated at in the city core, with over 2 million in the metropolitan area (2011). According to the Ukrainian Census (2001), 2001 census, Donetsk was the fifth-largest city in Ukraine. Yukhym Zvyahilsky
Yukhym Leonidovych Zvyahilsky ( uk, Юхим Леонідович Звягільський, russian: Ефим Леонидович Звягильский; 20 February 1933 – 6 November 2021) was a Ukrainian politician. He is the only member of Verkhovna Rada who was elected to parliament in eight elections (from 1990 Ukrainian Supreme Soviet election, 1990 until Zvyahilsky did not participate in the 2019 Ukrainian parliamentary election). Volodymyr Rybak (politician)
Volodymyr Vasyl'ovych Rybak ( uk, Володимир Васильович Рибáк; born 3 October 1946) is a Ukrainian politician. He was the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada from 13 December 2012 to 22 February 2014. Volodymyr Rybak is also the original leader of the predecessor of the Party of Regions, the Party of Regional Revival of Ukraine. He is a Merited Builder of Ukraine (1995). Oleksandr Oleksiyovych Lukyanchenko ( uk, Олександр Олексійович Лук'янченко, russian: Александр Алексеевич Лукьянченко; born 30 August 1947) is the former mayor of Donetsk city, in Ukraine. Life He was born to a Russian-speaking Ukrainian family in the village of Berdychi, in Donetsk Oblast. He attended primary school in the village of his birth, and secondary school in Avdiivka.
