Cricket
Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). Means of dismissal include being bowled, when the ball hits the stumps and dislodges the bails, and by the fielding side either catching the ball after it is hit by the bat, but before it hits the ground, or hitting a wicket with the ball before a batter can cross the crease in front of the wicket. Mizanur Rahman (cricketer)
Mizanur Rahman (born July 30, 1991, Rajshahi) is a first-class and List A cricketer from Bangladesh. He played for Duronto Rajshahi in the 2012 BPL tournament where he scored a half century on debut. In December 2017, he and Nazmul Hossain Shanto batting for Rajshahi Division against Dhaka Metropolis in the 2017–18 National Cricket League, made the highest opening partnership in a domestic first-class match in Bangladesh, scoring 341 runs. He was the leading run-scorer for Central Zone in the 2017–18 Bangladesh Cricket League, with 439 runs in six matches. In October 2018, he was named in the squad for the Dhaka Dynamites team, following the draft for the 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League. Soumya Sarkar ( bn, সৌম্য সরকার; born 25 February 1993) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a right arm medium-fast bowler who mainly plays as an opening batsman and the creator of the good looking " Shot". Shahriar Nafees
Shahriar Nafees Ahmed ( bn, শাহরিয়ার নাফীস আহমেদ; born: 1 May 1985) is a former Bangladeshi cricketer, who played all formats of the game, and was also a former T20I captain for Bangladesh.He made his One Day International (ODI) debut for Bangladesh in 2005 against England, and later the same year played his first Test. In 2008 he joined the Indian Cricket League (ICL) as part of the Dhaka Warriors. The members of the team were given 10-year bans by the Bangladesh Cricket Board which were lifted when they left the league. Nafees has since returned to the national team. Mohammad Sabbir Rahman ( bn, মোহাম্মদ সাব্বির রহমান; born 22 November 1988) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He is from Rajshahi and besides the national team, he plays for Rajshahi Division and the BPL. He is an all-rounder: a right-handed batsman and legbreak bowler. He was the highest run scorer for a test playing nation in the 2016 Asia Cup and became man of the tournament. Rony Talukdar (born 10 October 1990) is a batsman who plays first-class cricket for Dhaka Division in Bangladesh. He was part of Bangladesh's squad for the Under-19 World Cup in 2008. Quazi Nurul Hasan Sohan ( bn, কাজী নুরুল হাসান সোহান; born 21 November 1993) is a Bangladeshi cricketer who represents Bangladesh in international stage in all formats. Nazimuddin (cricketer)
Mohammed Nazimuddin Ahmed (born 1 October 1985) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. A right-handed specialist batsman, he is the captain of Chittagong Division, and has played Test, limited overs and Twenty20 cricket for Bangladesh. Nazimuddin made his first-class debut at the age of 16. Over the following seasons he was selected to play in the Bangladesh A and Bangladesh Under-19 teans. He played his first senior match for Bangladesh in 2007, in a Twenty20 tournament in Kenya. He was also selected in the Bangladesh national squad tour to Australia in August and September 2008.
