Lior Asulin
Lior Asulin ( he, ליאור אסולין; born 6 October 1980) is a male Israeli footballer. Playing career Maccabi Herzliya and Ariel Shaiman A native of Ra'anana, Israel he grew up in the youth system of Maccabi Herzliya and it was there that he made the jump to Israel's highest league, Israeli Premier League but did not last long as the club was relegated just two seasons after he made the first team. In Liga Leumit Lior scored a league leading twenty-eight goals, so after the 2001–02 season, club chairman Ariel Shaiman loaned Lior out to clubs in the top league and signed him to a long term contract with Herzliya hoping to cash in on a large transfer fee. During his seasons on loan, Lior has won the State Cup and established himself as one of the top Israeli strikers in the domestic league. Ra'anana ( he, רַעֲנָנָּה, lit. "Fresh") is a city in the southern Sharon Plain of the Central District of Israel. The 2012–13 Toto Cup Leumit is the 23rd season of the second tier League Cup (as a separate competition) since its introduction. It will be held in two stages. First, sixteen Liga Leumit teams are divided into four groups. The winners and runners-up advancing to the quarter-finals. The Israel Toto Cup ( he, גביע הטוטו, ''Gvia Ha'Toto'') is an association football tournament that features clubs in the two highest divisions in Israel: the Israeli Premier League ( Ligat Ha'Al), and the second division Liga Leumit. From 1999 to 2009, the tournament was also open to clubs from the third division, until the cancellation of Liga Artzit. The Toto Cup is the third most important competition in Israeli football after the Israeli Premier League and the Israeli State Cup.
