Lionheart (UK Wrestler)
Adrian McCallum (17 December 1982 – 19 June 2019) was a British professional wrestler, professional wrestling promoter and actor, better known by his ring name Lionheart. He wrestled for numerous promotions in the British Independent wrestling circuit including Insane Championship Wrestling, in which he reigned as the ICW World Heavyweight Champion until his death, and Preston City Wrestling. He was also the owner of Ayrshire-based wrestling promotion "Pro Wrestling Elite". Professional wrestling career Insane Championship Wrestling On 11 February 2007 Lionheart made his Insane Championship Wrestling debut, losing to James Wallace. On 3 April 2016, Lionheart captured the Insane Championship Wrestling Zero-G Championship from Davey Boy in a 6-way match at ICW Barramania II. According to a 2014 study by Eastern Michigan University examining professional wrestlers who were active between 1985 and 2011, mortality rates for professional wrestlers are up to 2.9 times greater than the rate for men in the wider United States population. A 2014 report by John Moriarty of the University of Manchester and Benjamin Morris of ''FiveThirtyEight'' also found that the mortality rate for professional wrestlers was significantly higher than that of athletes in other sports. European Heavyweight Championship
The European Heavyweight Championship is a name used for various top titles competed for throughout the European professional wrestling circuit. The title was recognised as official by UK national TV network ITV for the purposes of their coverage of the UK wrestling scene and by its listings magazine TVTimes in accompanying magazine feature coverage. The title was defended in many promotions in Europe, and other versions of this one title also appeared in certain promotions. On August 25, 2001 the European Wrestling Union produced a European Heavyweight Championship tournament in Bochum, Germany, bringing in wrestlers some of whom claimed to already be the champion. Scottish Heavyweight Championship
The Scottish Heavyweight Championship is the primary singles title in the Scottish Wrestling Alliance. It was first won by Conscience who defeated Eric Canyon, Adam Shane, and Hatred in Scotland on 17 July 2004. The title has generally been defended in Scotland, particularly in Bellshill, Bellahouston, Clydebank and Glasgow. It was originally created for British National Wrestling Alliance (NWA)-affiliated promotion NWA UK Hammerlock. The title was first defended outside of Scotland at the NWA Anniversary Show#2004, NWA 56th Anniversary Show in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 2004. Following the closure of NWA UK Hammerlock, the title was taken on by the Scottish Wrestling Alliance and the "NWA" was dropped from the name, resulting in the title simply being called the Scottish Heavyweight Championship. Shaaheen Hosseinpour (born 27 February 1985) is an English professional wrestler. He is mostly known for his time in WWE where he performed on the NXT UK brand under the ring name Sha Samuels. Barry Young (born 3 December 1986) is a Scottish professional wrestler. He is signed to WWE on the NXT brand, under the ring name Wolfgang. He resides in Ayr, Scotland and wrestles for numerous promotions in the British Independent circuit, most notably Insane Championship Wrestling where he is a former member of the New Age Kliq (NAK) stable and is a former ICW World Heavyweight Champion and ICW Zero-G Champion. One Pro Wrestling (abbreviated as 1PW) is a British professional wrestling Professional wrestling promotion, promotion. 1PW was founded in 2005 by Steven Gauntley. Joseph Samuel Hendry (born 1 May 1988) is a Scottish amateur and professional wrestler, currently signed with Impact Wrestling, and is the current Impact Digital Media Champion in his first reign.
