Line S12 (Milan Suburban Railway Service)
The line S12 ( it, Linea S12) is a commuter rail route forming part of the Milan suburban railway service ( it, Servizio ferroviario suburbano di Milano), which converges on the city of Milan, Italy. The route runs over the infrastructure of the Milan Passante and Milan–Piacenza railways. Like all but one of the other Milan suburban railway service routes, it is operated by Trenord. Route * Milano Bovisa ↔ Melegnano Line S12, a cross-city route, heads initially in a southerly direction from Milano Bovisa through the Milan Passante railway to Milano Rogoredo. From there, it turns south-east towards its southern terminus, Melegnano. History The route was activated on 12 September 2016. Milano Dateo is an underground railway station in Milan, Italy. It opened in 2002 as part of the Milan Passante railway. It is located under Piazzale Dateo. Services Milano Dateo is served by lines S1, S2, S5, S6, S12 and S13 of the Milan suburban railway network, operated by the Lombard railway company Trenord. It is connected to the M4 metro station of the same name since November 26, 2022 , providing a direct link to Linate Airport.
