Line Maheux is a Canadian communications consultant and political strategist. At different times, she has worked for Preston Manning, Stockwell Day, Mike Harris, John Nunziata, and Stephen Harper. Reform Party Maheux was hired as the Reform Party of Canada's first Quebec organizer in July 1994, after the party ended its practice of not running candidates in the province. Newspaper reports from the period describe her as a 32-year-old bilingual single mother. A former sales representative, she left university to take the position. Maheux was the Reform Party's first nominated candidate in Quebec, for a by-election in Brome—Missisquoi held on February 13, 1995. Line Luplau
Line Luplau (1823–1891) was a Danish feminist and suffragist. She was the co-founder of the Danske Kvindeforeningers Valgretsforbund or DKV (Danish Women's Society Suffrage Union) and first chairperson in 1889-1891. Life Line Luplau was born on 22 April 1823 in Mern, the daughter of the vicar Hans Christian Monrad (1780–1825) and Ferdinandine Henriette Gieertsen (1783–1871) and married the vicar Daniel Carl Erhard Luplau (1818–1909), in 1847. Luplau developed an early frustration over the fact that women was not recognized full rights as humans because of their sex. This interest is regarded to have developed from the public debate following the controversial novel '' Clara Raphael'' by Mathilde Fibiger (1851). Line Sigvardsen Jensen (born 23 August 1991) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Fortuna Hjørring in the 3F-Ligaem and for the Danish national team. Club career Sigvardsen Jensen, originally a centre back, has played for Fortuna Hjørring since October 2008. She began playing football aged 9 in her native Himmerland. She was signed by NWSL team Washington Spirit in July 2016. In her first season with the team, she played in three matches, two starts, totaling 141 minutes. Sigvardsen Jensen scored her first career NWSL goal on 22 April 2017 giving her team a 1–0 lead over the Orlando Pride. At the conclusion of the 2017 season, Jensen was waived by the Spirit.
