Lindsay Edmonds
Lindsay Edmonds (née Smith) is an American college basketball coach who is currently the head coach of the Rice University women's basketball team. She previously served as an assistant coach at Appalachian State University, James Madison University, and North Carolina State University. Career Edmonds was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She attended college at Appalachian State, where she played on the basketball team for four years, serving as co-captain for two. Conference USA (C-USA or CUSA) is an intercollegiate athletic conference whose current member institutions are located within the Southern United States. The conference participates in the NCAA's Division I in all sports. C-USA's offices are located in Dallas, Texas. History C-USA was founded in 1995 by the merger of the Metro Conference and Great Midwest Conference, two Division I conferences that did not sponsor football.
