Linden Hall, Northumberland
Linden Hall is a former mansion house in the civil parish of Longhorsley, Northumberland, England which is now operated as a hotel and country club. This includes an 18-hole golf course built by English golf course architect, Jonathan Gaunt, which opened in 1997. The Hall has listed building, Grade II listed building status. In about 1806 Charles William Bigge, a successful Newcastle banker, bought an estate of almost at Longhorsley, which had been owned by the family of the Earl of Carlisle since the 12th century. In 1813 he built a mansion house on the estate for his own occupation. He retained his friend, Sir Charles Monck, 6th Baronet, Sir Charles Monck, an amateur architect with a keen interest in the Greek Revival architecture, Greek Revival style, to design the new house with the assistance of the then newly qualified architect John Dobson (architect), John Dobson. The Ricards House–Linden Hall near Bridgeville, Delaware, USA, also known as Conaway House, is a historic house that was builtin five sections between 1731 and the mid-1960s. Linden Hall At Saint James Park
Linden Hall at Saint James Park is a historic estate and national historic district located at Lower Tyrone Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. The district includes three contributing buildings, one contributing structure, and one contributing object. The mansion was built by Sarah B. Cochran between 1909 and 1911, and is a 2 1/2-story, stone and stucco dwelling in the Tudor Revival style. The mansion has 31 rooms and is in the shape of a crescent. It is atop a hill at a elevation that affords a panoramic view of the surrounding area. Also on the property are the contributing garage and chauffeur's residence, gardens, and pool pavilion. It was a private residence until 1944, when it was sold to the Order of Saint Basil the Great as a novitiate. Linden Hall (athlete)
Linden Hall (born 20 June 1991) is an Australian track and field middle-distance runner. Early years Hall started running while in primary school in Victoria. While still in Grade 6, she came 11th in her first national championships in cross country. She also played netball and was a strong swimmer. However, she gave these away when she joined Essendon, Victoria, Essendon Athletics club and commenced regular athletics training with a coach. After high school, from 2011 to 2015, Hall went to the US where she studied Dietetics at Florida State University. During her college athletics career, she ran in three National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) 1500m finals and won bronze in 2014. Achievements Hall represented Australia at the 2016 Summer Olympics, Australia in the Athletics at the 2016 Summer Olympics – Women's 1500 metres, 1500 metres at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
