"Limón y sal" ( en, Lemon and Salt) is Julieta Venegas' second single release from her fourth studio album with the same name. Released in Mexico and USA on August 30, 2006. It did not chart on the billboard hot Latin songs chart. The song was written by Julieta Venegas and Jorge Villamizar (Ex-vocalist of Bacilos) and produced by Cachorro López. The song is about the acceptance of a loved one, their strengths and weaknesses. Music video The music video seems to be inspired by classic fairy tales and films from the early 20th century in which she appears in a forest filled with half-human creatures. In the video, Julieta meets a werewolf, and both fall for each other. They start living in a little cabin in the woods, but when the full moon comes, the werewolf runs away and suddenly becomes a very attractive man. Julieta Venegas Percevault (; born November 24, 1970) is an American-born Mexican singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and producer who sings pop-rock-indie in Spanish. She went on to join several bands including Mexican ska band Tijuana No!. Venegas plays 17 instruments including acoustic guitar, accordion, and keyboard. In 1997, she released her debut album '' Aquí'' to favorable reviews in Mexico by the rock audience. Her next production '' Bueninvento '' (2000) also produced by Gustavo Santaolalla, was praised by international critics and considered the third best album in the history of Spanish Rock by Rolling Stone. Gustavo Adrián Cerati (11 August 1959 – 4 September 2014) was an Argentine singer-songwriter, composer and producer, considered one of the most important and influential figures of Ibero-American rock.
