Limerick School Of Art And Design
The Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD; ga, Scoil Ealaíne Agus Deartha Luimnigh) is a constituent art college of the Technological University of the Shannon, located in Limerick, Ireland. The school operates on three of TUS: Midwest's campuses, Clare Street and George's Quay in Limerick city, and Clonmel in County Tipperary. The school can trace its origins back to 1852, and has had a number of guises and locations before consolidating into its current format and campuses in the 1980s and 1990s. LSAD offers courses at level 8 (honours degree) and level 9 (master's degree) across a range of art and design disciplines. Eddie Kennedy
Eddie Kennedy (born 1960) is an Irish painter. He is a member of Aosdána, an elite Irish association of artists. Early life Kennedy was born in Thurles in 1960. Career Kennedy studied at Limerick School of Art and Design, exhibiting at the Douglas Hyde Gallery in 1982 and graduating in 1983. He also attended the University of Cincinnati, receiving his Master of Fine Arts in 1989. He is chiefly active in oil painting of landscapes and seascapes, on canvas and linen. In 2017 he won a Pollock-Krasner Foundation award and was elected to Aosdána. Conor Harrington (born 1980) is an Irish street/graffiti artist based in London, England. Overview Harrington is known for both his street work and also more recently his gallery work.
