Gösta Theselius (June 9, 1922 in Stockholm – January 24, 1976 in Stockholm) was a Swedish arranger, composer, film scorer, pianist, and saxophonist. His brother was musician Hans Theselius. Theselius worked in the 1940s with a number of European big bands, including those of Thore Jederby, Hakan von Eichwald, Sam Samson, Lulle Elboj, and Thore Ehrling."Gösta Theselius". Thore Ehrling (film)
Thore Ehrling (December 29, 1912, Stockholm - October 21, 1994, Stockholm) was a Swedish trumpeter, composer, and bandleader, who led jazz and popular music ensembles. Ehrling played with Frank Vernon's ensemble from 1930 to 1934, and concomitantly studied at the Royal Swedish Academy of Music. From 1935 to 1938 he played under Håkan von Eichwald and did arrangement and composition work on the side. He founded his own ensemble in 1938, which grew to big band size in the nineteen years it was active. This group played popular music and jazz, recorded frequently, and played often on Swedish radio. The group featured many sidemen who went on to become prominent on the Swedish jazz scene, such as Uffe Baadh and Carl-Henrik Norin, and accompanied popular Swedish singers such as Inger Berggren and Lily Berglund. Gunnar Svensson
Gunnar Svensson (27 June 1956 – 31 January 2020) was a Swedish people, Swedish ice hockey player, Coach (ice hockey), head coach and sports agent. During his playing career Svensson played for Örnsköldsvik and IF Björklöven. He began his coaching career in Örnsköldsvik before signing on to IK Vita Hästen. Svensson coached his first and only Swedish Hockey League, Elitserien club when he signed on a five-year contract with Djurgårdens IF Hockey, Djurgårdens IF in 1984. Svensson's first season in Djurgården went well, the team won the league and beat Färjestads BK in the semifinals. However, Södertälje SK proved to be too hard in the final and became Swedish champions. The following season was quite the opposite; Djurgården was close to being relegated, and Svensson was subsequently fired on 26 January 1986. After his stay in Djurgården, he became coach for IF Troja/Ljungby until 1988. This marked the end of Svensson's coaching career and he went on to be a manager ...
