Consumed (band)
Consumed is an English punk rock band formed in 1992 in the outskirts of Nottingham. It was signed to Fat Wreck Chords, then moved to BYO Records and Golf Records shortly before the release of the album '' Pistols at Dawn''. The band toured the UK, Europe, Scandinavia, the U.S. and Canada and also appeared regularly at surf and skate festivals in the mid-to late-1990s. The band's first incarnation was called Desecrator (formed in 1989) which played death metal and released one album in 1991, titled ''Subconscious Release''. The track "Heavy Metal Winner" was used in the 2000 video game ''Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2'' and in the HD version, ''Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD'', in 2012. It was added to the 2020 remake '' Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2''. It was also used in 2002 video game ''Totaled!''. The band broke up in 2003 but reformed in 2015 and is currently active. "My Favorite Things" is a song from the 1959 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical ''The Sound of Music.'' In the original Broadway production, this song was introduced by Mary Martin playing Maria and Patricia Neway playing Mother Abbess. Julie Andrews, who played Maria in the 1965 film version of the musical, had previously sung it on the 1961 Christmas special for ''The Garry Moore Show''. In 2004 the movie version of the song finished at No. 64 on AFI's 100 Years...100 Songs survey of top tunes in American cinema. Other notable versions John Coltrane played a fourteen-minute version in E minor as the title track of an album recorded in October 1960 and released in March 1961. Screeching Weasel is an American punk rock band consisting of Ben Weasel (vocals), Mike Kennerty (guitar), Mike Hunchback (guitar), Zach "Poutine" Brandner (bass) and Pierre Marche (drums). Screeching Weasel is originally from the Chicago suburb of Prospect Heights, Illinois. The band was formed in 1986 by Ben Weasel and John Jughead. Since their formation, Screeching Weasel have reformed several times with lineup changes. Ben Weasel has been the only constant member, though Jughead was present in every incarnation of the band until 2009. NOFX () is an American punk rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1983. Vocalist/bassist Fat Mike, guitarist Eric Melvin and drummer Erik Sandin are original founding and longest-serving members of the band, who have appeared on every release of the band, although Sandin departed briefly in 1985, only to rejoin the following year. Tilt is an American punk rock band from the East Bay (San Francisco Bay Area), East Bay, California, United States, formed in 1992. San Dimas High School is a secondary school located in San Dimas, California, in the United States. It is part of the Bonita Unified School District. Most of the students come from Lone Hill Middle School which shares the same city block as the High School. The school has a student body of 1,296 and an API score of 839. Avail is an American punk rock band from Richmond, Virginia, United States. Originally from Reston, Virginia, the band formed in 1987, its members including Joe Banks, Doug Crosby, Brien Stewart, and Mikey Warstler. The only original remaining member, guitar player Joe Banks, teamed up with rival band LDK's (Learning Disabled Kids) Tim Barry. They moved to Richmond in 1990, and soon, after numerous line up changes, put together a solid lineup to release their first album ''Satiate'' in 1992. Many of their lyrics center on Richmond.
