Life After Death (TV Series)
''Life After Death'' (; lit. ''The People I Have Loved'') is a 2020 Hong Kong romantic melodrama television series starring Frankie Lam, Priscilla Wong, Mark Ma and Shiga Lin. Produced by Kwan Shu-ming and Kwan Man-sum, the series premiered on TVB on June 8, 2020. Synopsis A deadly car accident leaves both Keung Yuk-sing (Frankie Lam) and Laura Fong Lok-man (Priscilla Wong) widowed. Seven years later, another accident has Yuk-sing encounter Laura. Laura rekindles her bond with her estranged sister Sherman Fong Shu-man (Shiga Lin) with the help of Dr. Koo Hei-sun (Mark Ma), who has Asperger syndrome. Laura grieves the passing of her mother-in-law and is trying to taking care of her daughter Chu Hang-yee and stepson Chu Ka-bing, while Yuk-sing struggles to understand the needs of his teenage daughter Keung Chi-yau. All-Asian Satellite Television and Radio Operator, doing business as Astro, is a Malaysian satellite television and IPTV provider. It operates in Malaysia and Brunei and operates from the All Asia Broadcast Centre (AABC) in Kuala Lumpur and MEASAT in Cyberjaya. The TVB Star Awards Malaysia () is an annual awards ceremony honoring Cantonese programming achievements in Malaysia. It is produced by TVB Entertainment News, with Astro and MY FM as media partners. The ceremony was previously known as the My Astro On Demand Favourites Awards (), which succeeded the Astro Wah Lai Toi Drama Awards (). The Malaysian television channel Astro Wah Lai Toi, presented by Astro, airs Hong Kong television programmes produced by TVB. The TVB Anniversary Awards (), officially known as the TVB Awards Presentation, is an annual awards ceremony honoring TVB's programming achievements in Hong Kong television; despite claims that it is the region's equivalent to the American Emmy and the Australian Logie, no other networks are allowed to enter their programmes into TVB competition, and it is awarded solely to TVB programming. Winners are awarded a copy of the golden TVB anniversary statuette, which depicts a man and a woman holding up TVB's square logo.
