Liam O'Connor (cricketer)
Liam O'Connor (born 20 June 1993) is an Australian cricketer. He was previously contracted with the Western Warriors, Western Australia's state team, but initially he did not play any first-class or List A matches for the state. Since 2016, he has played for the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League, being brought into the squad for BBL06 as an injury replacement, winning the tournament with the team in BBL07. In 2019, he made his first-class and List A debuts for Western Australia. Cricket career O'Connor first started to gain attention in the 2014–15 season playing grade cricket in Perth for Bayswater-Morley District Cricket Club. In 15 games in the premier division he took 29 wickets, enough to earn himself a rookie contract with the Western Warriors, Western Australia's state team, for the 2015–16 season. Liam Nygaard O'Connor (born 10 July 1979 in Aarhus, Denmark), better known as L.O.C., is a Danish rapper, songwriter and TV-host. Biography Born to Danish mother Susan Nygaard O'Conner and Irish father Dermot O'Conner. He started his career in 1995 together with Chadi Abdul-Karim (C.A.K.), when they started the group Alzheimer Klinikken. Two years later they released their first demotape "Respekten Stinker" (The Respekt Stinks). Liam O'Connor ( ga, Liam Ó Conchubhair; born 1984) is an Irish fiddler, collector, researcher and teacher from County Dublin. He is the current director of the Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA). O'Connor has been described by The Journal of Music as "one of the outstanding fiddle-players of his generation". Early life O'Connor was born into a musical family in Baldoyle, a coastal village in Fingal, North County Dublin, Ireland. His father, Mick O'Connor, is a well-known flute player, researcher and leader of the Castle Céilí Band. His father grew up in The Liberties, Dublin and was a neighbour and friend of renowned fiddle player, Tommy Potts. Liam O'Connor (Gaelic Footballer)
Liam O'Connor (13 September 1955 – 2 December 2013) was an Irish Gaelic footballer who played as a full-back for the Offaly senior team. Born in Walsh Island, County Offaly, O'Connor first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of twenty-three when he first linked up with the Offaly senior team when he made his debut in the 1979 championship. O'Connor went on to play a key part for the Offaly defence over the next few years, and won one All-Ireland medal and three Leinster medals. He was an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion. O'Connor was a member of the Leinster inter-provincial team on a number of occasions throughout his career, however, he never won a Railway Cup medal. At club level he was a two-time Leinster medallist with Walsh Island. He also won six successive championship medals with the club. Throughout his career O'Connor made 20 championship appearances.
