Liam Doyle (hurler)
Liam Doyle (born 1968) is an Irish hurling coach and former player. At club level he played with Bodyke and at inter-county level with the Clare senior hurling team. Doyle later served as a manager and selector. Playing career Doyle first appeared on the inter-county scene with Clare as goalkeeper on the minor team in 1986. He later spent three successive years with the under-21 team. Doyle was drafted onto the senior team in 1989 and played for a number of seasons before drifting away in 1991. Doyle's inter-county career was restarted in 1993 when, as part of the Clare junior team, he won an All-Ireland JHC medal after a defeat of Kilkenny in the final. He was recalled to the senior team for the 1993–94 league. Doyle was part of the Clare team that bridged a 63-year gap to win the Munster SHC title in 1995. Liam Doyle (Gaelic Footballer)
Liam Doyle is a Gaelic football player from with County Down, Northern Ireland. He plays for the Down senior football team and his local club Liatroim Fontenoys. Doyle was captain of the Down team that won the Ulster Minor Championship in 1999, and later that year won the All-Ireland Minor Football Championship. After nearly three years Doyle made a welcome comeback for the Down men in their 1-10 to 1-09 National Football League win over Donegal. Doyle scored 1-4 from centre back, winning man of the match and making ''Gaelic Lifes "team of the week". Liam's father Willie Doyle was Center Half back on the Down team that won the All-Ireland in 1968. Liam Doyle (born 1 July 1992) is a Manx former professional footballer who played as a defender. Doyle is currently the Director of Soccer Operations for MLS Next Pro club Huntsville City FC. Liam was formally drafted by D.C. United in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft. Liam is also a United States Green Card holder. Career Youth and college Doyle played soccer at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College in 2012 and 2013, before transferring to Ohio State University in 2014, where he stayed for two years. Professional Doyle has played for St Marys on his native Isle of Man. The team competes in the Isle of Man Football League. On 19 January 2016, Doyle was selected 67th overall in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft by DC United. However, after trialling with the club he was not signed.
