Li Na
Li Na (born 26 February 1982) is a Chinese former professional tennis player. She achieved a career-high WTA ranking of world No. 2 on 17 February 2014. Over the course of her career, Li won nine WTA Tour singles titles including two Grand Slam singles titles at the 2011 French Open and 2014 Australian Open. Those victories made her the first Grand Slam singles champion from Asia, male or female. She also became the first player representing an Asian country to appear in a Grand Slam singles final, finishing as the runner-up at the 2011 Australian Open. Li was also the runner-up at the 2013 Australian Open and 2013 WTA Tour Championships, a three-time quarterfinalist at Wimbledon and a semifinalist at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and 2013 US Open. Li Na ( or Li Ne, born 3 August 1940), is the daughter of Mao Zedong and his fourth wife Jiang Qing, and their only child together. Her surname is Li rather than Mao, because her father used the pseudonym "Li Desheng" () for a period of time during the Chinese Civil War. The names of Li Na and her sister Li Min come from Book 4 of the ''Analects'' of Confucius: "''ne'' yu yan er ''min'' yu xing" (, meaning ''slow'' in speech and ''earnest'' in conduct). Niu Zhihong (born July 25, 1963), better known by her stage name Li Na, is a Chinese folk singer that gained particular popularity in the late 1980s and the 1990s China for singing many theme songs of highly-popular TV series, such as '' Kewang'' (1990). Li Na (; born 9 March 1981 in Dandong, Liaoning) is a Chinese épée fencer. She won a bronze medal in the women's team épée event at the 2000 Summer Olympics, and won gold in the same event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Li won the gold medal in the épée team event at the 2006 World Fencing Championships, after beating France in the final. She accomplished this with her teammates Luo Xiaojuan, Zhang Li and Zhong Weiping.
