Leterme II
The Leterme II Government was the federal government of Belgium from 25 November 2009 to 26 April 2010, and the caretaker government until 6 December 2011. It took office when the Flemish Christian Democrat Yves Leterme (CD&V) was sworn in as Prime Minister. It followed the Van Rompuy I Government which ended when Herman Van Rompuy became the first President of the European Council. It comprised five parties: the Dutch-speaking Christian Democratic and Flemish (CD&V), the Dutch-speaking Open Flemish Liberals and Democrats (Open VLD), the French-speaking liberal Reformist Movement (MR), the French-speaking Socialist Party (PS) and the French-speaking Humanist Democratic Centre (CDH). Laurette Onkelinx
Laurette A. J. Onkelinx (born 2 October 1958) is a Belgian politician from the Francophone Socialist Party. She was the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Social Affairs and Public Health in the Belgian federal government, i.e., the Di Rupo Government, which took office on 6 December 2011. Biography Born in Ougrée to and Germaine Ali Bakir, of Kabyle origin, she graduated in law at the University of Liège after which she worked as a lawyer for ten years. Etienne Schouppe
Etienne Adolf Schouppe (born 24 July 1942 in Denderleeuw) is a Belgian politician. He is a member of the Christen-Democratisch en Vlaams party. Before his entry into politics, he was executive manager of the National Railway Company of Belgium. Schouppe was a member of the Belgian Senate from 2003 to 2010 and since 2008 the State Secretary for Mobility. At the local level Schouppe was mayor of Liedekerke for eleven years. Inge Vervotte (born 27 December 1977) is a Belgian politician for the Christian Democratic and Flemish party (CD&V). She was Belgian federal minister for Civil Service and Public Enterprises in the Leterme I Government, which was in office in 2008 from 20 March to 30 December. Michel Daerden (16 November 1949 – 5 August 2012) was a francophone Belgian politician, a member of the '' Parti Socialiste'', and a finance auditor. Daerden was born in Baudour, Belgium. Pieter Frans Norbert Jozef Raymond De Crem (; born 22 July 1962) is a Belgian politician and member of Christian Democratic and Flemish (CD&V). Annemie Turtelboom (born 22 November 1967) is a former Belgian minister, who is currently serving as the Belgian Member of The European Court of Auditors since 2018. Early career Annemie Turtelboom graduated from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 1993 with an MA in Economics, having previously obtained a Teaching Certificate from the Guardini Institute in Antwerp in 1988.
