Let's Play Darts For Comic Relief
''Let's Play Darts'' is a charity sports show hosted by Gabby Logan. The show sees celebrities team up with professional darts players to play five rounds of darts before announcing a winner. The winner from each quarter-final episode goes through to the semi-final rounds. Episode guide Series 1 (2015) The series was filmed on 3–4 September, and aired in early March in the lead-up to the Comic Relief fundraiser marathon. The series also featured Comic Relief appeal films from Lenny Henry, Liza Tarbuck, Emma Willis and Angela Griffin as well as presenter Gabby Logan. Participants Matches =Quarter-finals= The quarter-final matches were aired between 1 and 4 March 2015. Bob Mortimer
Robert Renwick Mortimer (born 23 May 1959) is an English comedian, podcast presenter and actor. He is known for his work with Vic Reeves as part of their Vic and Bob comedy double act, and more recently the '' Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing'' series with comedian Paul Whitehouse. He has also appeared on panel shows such as ''Would I Lie to You?'' and ''Taskmaster''. Early life Mortimer was raised with three brothers in the Linthorpe area of Middlesbrough. Jon Joel Richardson (born 26 September 1982) is an English comedian. Martin Adams
Martin Adams (born 4 June 1956) is an English professional darts player who plays in World Darts Federation (WDF) events. Nicknamed "Wolfie", he is a three-time BDO World Champion and three-time World Masters champion. He represents Cambridgeshire at county darts level and was the captain of England from 1993 to 2013, the longest any player has held that role. From his debut in 1994, Adams made a record 25 consecutive World Championship appearances, before failing to qualify for the first time in 2019. Adams was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April 2016, but by the end of the year he was given the all-clear. Darryl Fitton
Darryl Fitton (born 5 May 1962) is an English professional darts player. He is nicknamed The Dazzler and comes to the stage dancing to the Madness song "One Step Beyond" wearing sunglasses; one of the most popular walk-ons with the audience. Timothy Mark Vine (born 4 March 1967) is an English comedian, actor, writer, and presenter best known for his one-liners and his role on the sitcom ''Not Going Out'' (2006–2014). Richie George
Richard George (born 18 December 1989) is a former English professional darts player. He was born in Essex and is the son of former world championship finalist Bobby George. They became the first father-and-son duo to play in the BDO version of the World Championship, when Richie played in the 2013 event. Darting career Richie played darts as a junior, but then left the game. He qualified for the televised stages of the 2012 Winmau World Masters, but lost to Thomas Junghans 3–1 in the last 32.
