Leon Williams (American Football)
Leon E'srom Williams (born July 30, 1983) is a former American football linebacker. He played for the Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs. He was drafted by the Browns in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Williams was also a member of the New York Sentinels of the United Football League (2009–2012), United Football League (UFL). He played college football at the University of Miami. Early years A native of Brooklyn, New York City where he attended Canarsie High School in Brooklyn, New York, he played high school football for the Chiefs under coach Mike Camerdese and graduated in 2001. As a junior, he played tight end, catching and 20 passes for 219 yards and 3 touchdowns. As a senior, he was moved to linebacker, collecting 98 tackles, 12 sacks, 4 fumble recoveries and 3 interceptions. Leon Williams (born 6 November 1983) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 2009 to 2012. He held the British Cruiserweight title from 2011 to 2012. Williams won the Southern Area title in October 2010 with a points win over JJ Ojuederie. This was followed, however, by a second-round knockout by Richard Turba. Williams became British cruiserweight champion following his controversial defeat of Robert Norton on 21 October 2011. Most observers had Norton comfortably winning the fight. Leon Vernon Williams Jr. (born July 24, 1986) is an American professional basketball player. Career Williams graduated from the Cardinal Gibbons School in 2004. After high school, Williams played college basketball for Ohio University from 2004 to 2008, during that time he also played in the summer league Belize Elite Basketball League for the Belize Bank Bulldogs. After graduating in 2008, Williams started his professional career in Turkey where he played for two years for Pınar Karşıyaka and then Erdemir where he was the top rebounder of the Turkish Basketball League in both seasons. Leon Anthony Williams (born 25 July 1991) is a Dutch professional basketball player who plays for Donar of the BNXT League. He is a current member of the Dutch national basketball team. Professional career Williams started his career in Bergen op Zoom, with WCAA Giants. The season after that, he played for Rotterdam Basketbal College.
