Nik Lentz (born August 13, 1984) is an American retired mixed martial artist. He most notably fought for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, fighting in the lightweight division. Background Lentz was born in El Paso, Texas but grew up in Twin Cities area of Minnesota, attending Bloomington Jefferson High School. In high school he wrestled, and was a state champion in Minnesota. After graduating in 2003, he was awarded a scholarship to wrestle for the University of Minnesota. The Lentz Hotel, erected in 1853, is an historic site that is the oldest commercial building in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. It was moved in 1980 from its original site at the center of Mount Pleasant, North Carolina and restored. Description The board-and-batten exterior of the Lentz Hotel is supported by a timber frame of chestnut. The building reflects the "bracketed mode" of construction, made popular by American architect Andrew Jackson Downing (1815-1852). This "Carpenter Gothic" style includes brackets under especially wide eaves, vertical board-and-batten sheathing, and heavy lintels over the windows. Nicolas James Lentz (born December 28, 1989) is an American umpire in Major League Baseball. He made his debut on April 20, 2016, in Miami. He wears number 59, which was most recently worn by former umpire Jon Byrne. During the 2016 season, Lentz umpired 105 MLB games, 24 as the home plate umpire. Lentz's first MLB ejection came on May 17, 2017, when he ejected St. Louis Cardinals' manager Mike Matheny. In July 2017, Lentz was the first base umpire for the Triple-A All-Star Game. He umpired 109 MLB games during the 2017 season, 25 behind the plate. On August 31, 2018, Lentz ejected New York Yankees' manager Aaron Boone. Bryan Roy Lentz (born June 5, 1964) is an American politician from Pennsylvania. He served as a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 161st legislative district from 2007 to 2010. He was the 2010 Democratic nominee for U.S. Representative for . He was an officer in the U.S. Army and served in the Iraq War and during peacekeeping missions in the Sinai Peninsula and Bosnia.
