Lennart Sandin (November 26, 1919 – June 5, 1991) was a Sweden, Swedish bobsledder who competed in the early 1950s. Discussions about Oslo hosting the Winter Olympic Games began as early as 1935; the city was keen to host the 1948 Winter Olympics, but that was made impossible by World War II. Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality.
