Lee Towndrow is a visual artist based in New York City. He creates visual effects, and has been a photographer, credited with portraits of Lena Dunham, Martin Amis, Dan Brown, Michael Chabon, and Sheila Heti. An ivory tower is a metaphorical place—or an atmosphere—where people are happily cut off from the rest of the world in favor of their own pursuits, usually mental and esoteric ones. Merrill Nisker (born 11 November 1966), better known by her stage name Peaches, is a Canadian electroclash musician and producer. Margaux Williamson (born in 1976) is a Canadian painter, filmmaker, and writer based out of Toronto. Williamson’s paintings are meant to be understood in part as "a philosophical investigation of the landscape around her, as well as dedicated rigour and formal exploration into the development and possibilities of painting as a medium". Through her work she has created a highly personal visual language which she uses to explore themes of subjecthood, storytelling, life, death, aging and tension. Michelle McAdorey is a Canadian singer-songwriter based in Toronto, Ontario. She was a member of the 1990s band Crash Vegas, and also performed and recorded as a solo artist. Early life McAdorey was born in Toronto. She is the niece of Canadian television personality Bob McAdorey.
