Lee So-yeon (born April 16, 1982) is a South Korean actress. She is best known for her roles in the films ''Untold Scandal'' (2003) and '' Feathers in the Wind'' (2004), and the television series ''Spring Waltz'' (2006), ''Temptation of an Angel'' (2009) and '' Dong Yi'' (2010). Career Lee So-yeon first drew notice in the period film ''Untold Scandal'', playing the Cécile role in the 2003 Korean adaptation of ''Les Liaisons dangereuses''. Soyeon Kate Lee (이소연) is a Korean-American classical pianist, who currently lives in New York, US. She is on the College and Pre-College piano faculty at the Juilliard School. Early life and education Born in Seoul, South Korea, Soyeon Kate Lee moved to the United States at the age of 9. Lee's early studies were with Romanian teacher Marina di Pretoro and at the Interlochen Arts Academy with Victoria Mushkatkol. She graduated from the Interlochen Arts Academy with the highest honors in music. She continued her studies at The Juilliard School with Jerome Lowenthal and Robert McDonald, earning her Bachelors, Masters, and Artist Diploma degrees. Yi So-yeon (born June 2, 1978) is a South Korean astronaut and biotechnologist who became the first Korean to fly in space. Upon return from her mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS), Yi continued as a KARI researcher attending the International Space University before retiring from the agency to pursue an MBA at the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business. Biography Yi So-yeon was born to father Yi Gil-soo and mother Jeong Geum-soon, and raised in Gwangju, South Korea. Yi studied at Gwangju Science High School.
