Leandro Almeida da Silva (born 14 March 1987), or simply Leandro Almeida, is a Brazilian association football, footballer who plays as a Defender (association football)#Centre-back, central defender for Xagħra United F.C., Xagħra United. Career Almeida made his professional debut for Clube Atlético Mineiro, Atlético Mineiro in a 1–1 home draw against Club Athletico Paranaense, Atlético-PR in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, Campeonato Brasileiro on 2 June 2006 and scored his first professional goal for Clube Atlético Mineiro, Atlético Mineiro in a 1–2 away defeat to Figueirense Futebol Clube, Figueirense in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, Campeonato Brasileiro on 8 September 2007.
