Leaders of the New School was an American hip hop group based in Long Island, New York. History The crew was composed of Uniondale, New York, natives Charlie Brown (born Bryan Higgins on September 19, 1970) and Dinco D (born James Jackson on November 4, 1971); North Amityville, New York native Cut Monitor Milo (born Sheldon Scott on July 4, 1970); and Busta Rhymes (born Trevor Smith, Jr. on May 20, 1972), who was originally from Brooklyn, New York but later moved to Uniondale at the age of twelve. The group's big break came when they became an opening act for hip hop group Public Enemy. ''The Coming'' is the debut studio album by American rapper Busta Rhymes. It was released on March 26, 1996, by Elektra Records. The album contains contributions by Def Squad members Redman, Keith Murray, and Jamal, Q-Tip, Zhané, Leaders of the New School and several Flipmode Squad members. ''Yo! MTV Raps'' is an American two-hour television music video program, which first aired on MTV Europe from 1987 to mid-90s and on MTV US from August 1988 to August 1995. Sobb Story
Sobb Story is the second single from Leaders of the New School's debut album '' A Future Without a Past...'', where it followed up at #8 at Hop Hip Singles charts. It contains samples from a Hugo Montenegro recording, Aces High. Music video The video opens with an introduction where a car engine comes on and the tailpipe starts to sputter. As we originally see the group riding on the front of the car and dancing to the rhythm while they are going to a house party, Leaders of the New School comes in with a smooth-like, mellow flow. Busta Rhymes is the first to spill his lyrical lines about his ups & downs. Charlie Brown comes in with a second verse right after Busta and begins to flow on. Then Dinco D drops his last verse with a little ad-lib into the song. As the Leaders are performing in front of the people, the music fades and the video ends. "Scenario" is the third single from A Tribe Called Quest's second album '' The Low End Theory''. The song features members of the rap group Leaders of the New School. Black Sheep is an American hip hop duo from Queens, New York (state), New York, United States, composed of Dres (rapper), Andres "Dres" Vargas Titus and William "Mista Lawnge" McLean.
