Le Motorizzate
''Le motorizzate'' ("The motorized women") is a 1963 Italian anthology comedy film written and directed by Marino Girolami. Plot Five segments. The collision between a van of religious, supporters of the Christian Democrats, and a Fiat 600 with on board a group of young militants of the PCI. Misadventures of a prostitute who works into a caravan placed under a viaduct. A walker faces a foot race to the beat of music. The poor Urbano Cacace impersonates a traffic policeman in order to feed his family. A woman with her brand new car hit a man who tries to take advantage of the incident attempting an insurance scam. Marino Girolami
Marino Girolami (1 February 1914 – 20 February 1994) was an Italian film director and actor. Biography Marino Giorlami was born on 1 February 1914 in Rome, Italy. Formally a Professional boxer, Girolami ended his boxing career when he was 20. Following this, he got a degree as a physical therapist and opened a gym which specialized in therapeutic massages. Girolami entered into Italy Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. Among the people Girolami met was Anna Magnani who took her son Luca to meet him which led to close relationship between them. Girolami gave her the script he had been working on of ''Campo de'fiori'' which was passed on to Aldo Fabrizi. The story was re-written by Girolami and Federico Fellini and directed by Mario Bonnard, which led to Girolami working in film. He debuted as an actor in 1940, and became an assistant director for Mario Soldati, Marcello Marchesi, Vittorio Metz. Corrado Mantoni (2 August 1924 – 8 June 1999), known simply as Corrado, was an Italian radio and television host. Biography He was born in Rome, where he followed classic studies and in jurisprudence; before finishing university studies he started to work as radio speaker with EIAR, predecessor of RAI, Italian State Television. He was the first to announce to the Italian public events such as the end of World War II, the birth of the Italian Republic or the death of Trilussa. He also worked as dubber for foreign actors including Jerry Lewis. In 1949, he was chosen by RAI as their first TV host for the Italian first experimental TV broadcasting. Enio Girolami (14 January 1935 – 16 February 2013), sometimes credited as Thomas Moore, was an Italian film and television actor. Born in Rome, son of director Marino Girolami and brother of director Enzo G. Castellari, Girolami made his film debut at 18 with a role of weight in ''Fratelli d'Italia'' by Fausto Saraceni. Liana Orfei (born 6 June 1937) is an Italian actress and circus artist. She appeared in more than 30 films between 1959 and 1971. Anna Campori (22 September 1917 – 19 January 2018) was an Italian actress. From 1951 onwards, she appeared in 70 films.
