Le Gendarme En Balade
''The gendarme to stroll'' (french: Le gendarme en balade) is the fourth instalment of the gendarme series starring Louis de Funès and also known as "The Gendarme Takes Off" and "The Troops on Vacation". It is followed by two more films: ''Le gendarme et les extra-terrestres'' and ''Le gendarme et les gendarmettes''. Plot Changes are coming for the Gendarmerie Brigade of Saint Tropez. The gendarmes are forced into retirement to make way for a younger breed. Even so, when they learn that one of them has had an accident and has become amnesiac, they reunite to help him get his memory back. Along the way, they have to stop juvenile delinquents to put a nuclear warhead on a rocket said youths built, while being pursued by their younger colleagues. Jean Girault
Jean Girault (; 9 May 1924 – 24 July 1982) was a French film director and screenwriter. From 1951 to 1960 he worked as a screenwriter, mainly for comedy films. He made his film debut as a director in 1960. He directed more than thirty films between 1960 and 1982. In 1982, he died of tuberculosis at the age of 58. Michel Modo
Michel Modo (born Michel Henri Louis Goi; 30 March 1937 - 25 September 2008) was a French actor and humorist. Modo died of cancer on 25 September 2008 in Vaires-sur-Marne (Seine-et-Marne). Career He is best known in France for having formed in the late 1950s a comedy duo, ''Grosso et Modo'', with actor Guy Grosso.
