Lazaros Papadopoulos (footballer)
Lazaros Papadopoulos ( el, Λάζαρος Παπαδόπουλος; born 16 August 1950) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as right midfielder and a manager. Club career Papadopoulos started his career at the club of his hometown, Veria. He was transferred to AEK Athens, in the summer of 1974. At the time, the presence of many notable footballers in the team's roster did not leave much room for his establishment in the basic squad. However, Papadopoulos manage to help the club in contributing to the club to their glorious days both domestically and internationally. On 1 October 1975 he scored his first goal in the UEFA competitions in the 3–1 home win against Vojvodina for the UEFA Cup. He was a part of the squad that reached to the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup in the 1977. Lazaros Papadopoulos
Lazaros Papadopoulos (Greek: Λάζαρος Παπαδόπουλος; born 3 June 1980) is a Greek former professional basketball player. He was listed at 7 ft (2.13 m) 265 lbs (120 kg), and he played the center position. During his playing career, he was best known for his signature skyhook move. Papadopoulos played with several teams in Europe throughout his professional club career, and he most notably won the EuroLeague twice, in 2002 with Panathinaikos and in 2012 with Olympiacos. He was an All-EuroLeague Second Team selection in 2007. He represented the Greece national team and won the gold medal at the 2005 EuroBasket and the silver medal at the 2006 FIBA World Championship. Acharnaikos F
Acharnaikos Football Club ( el, Α.Ο. Αχαρναϊκός) is a Greek football club based in Acharnes (Menidi area), Attica, Greece. It was created in 1938 and was founded in 1953. The club was known as Yperochi Menidi until 1961. It plays in Acharnes Stadium, which has a 4,450 seating capacity. The club´s logo is a cloverleaf with two alphas in the left and top and an omicron at the right. Acharnaikos competes in the Football League, the second division of the Greek football league system. The 1977–78 Greek Football Cup was the 36th edition of the Greek Football Cup. The competition culminated with the Greek Cup Final, held at Karaiskakis Stadium, on 4 June 1978. The Greek Football Cup ( el, Κύπελλο Ελλάδος Ποδοσφαίρου), commonly known as the Greek Cup or Kypello Elladas is a Greek football competition, run by the Hellenic Football Federation. The Greek Cup is the second most important domestic men's football event, after the championship of Super League.
