Fiona Scott Lazareff is an activist and has created various campaigns to support social justice and women's entrepreneurship in technology. Career Lazareff began her career working as an economist for Carr Sebag where she launched “International Strategy” a monthly newsletter on international asset management in 1980. In 1981 she moved to Hong Kong to work for WI Carr and Hoare Govett as a financial analyst and in 1982 she moved to New York to work for Samuel Montagu. She then moved to Paris where she raised €650,000 (3,2MF) from financial institutions to create Mediatime France SA, and to launch several publications including, in 1990, the English-language lifestyle magazine ''Boulevard''. She also co-founded the Crillon Debutantes Ball, a fashion show in which young aristocratic women appeared. Hélène Gordon-Lazareff
Hélène Gordon-Lazareff (; 21 September 1909 – 16 February 1988) was a French journalist of Russian Jewish origin who founded ''Elle'' magazine in 1945. She was married to Pierre Lazareff, founder of the newspaper ''France-Soir''. She had two daughters, Michèle Lazareff-Rosier from her first marriage and Nina Lazareff from her second marriage with Pierre. Life Born in Russia, Hélène Gordon-Lazareff fled to France from the Bolshevik Revolution. She studied ethnography at the Sorbonne. She began her career as a journalist in the 1930s, writing the children's page for ''France-Soir'' under the name "Tante Juliette". Michèle Lazareff Rosier (; 3 June 1930 – 2 April 2017) was a French fashion journalist and designer who founded the V de V sportswear label. In addition to this, she worked as a film director and screenwriter since 1973. Early life and education Born Michèle Raudnitz in 1930, her mother was the journalist Hélène Gordon-Lazareff (1909–1988), and Michèle was the child from Hélène's first marriage to Paul Raudnitz. Pierre Lazareff
Pierre Lazareff (1907–1972) was a French newspaper editor and publisher. He was the son of a Russian Jewish emigrant, David Lazareff, and an Alsatian Jew, Marthe Helft. He was passionate about newspapers from his childhood, even running a family paper called ''Le Journal des Bibis''. In his teens, he interviewed Eugène Silvain and sold it to ''La Rampe''. He worked for Mistinguett and for the Moulin Rouge, where he was responsible for the funeral of La Goulue. He wrote in the theatre section of ''Le Soir''. In 1928, he joined '' Paris-Midi'', where he brought in his friends Joseph Kessel, Roger Vailland and Charles Gombault. He also worked at the Pigalle Theatre. Serge Lazareff
Serge Constantine Lazareff (7 August 1944 - 20 August 2021) was an Australian actor and screenwriter/editor, who was born in Shanghai, China. He appeared in 54 roles from the late 1960s until 1999, before starting a second career as a writer for TV series. Acting Lazareff performed in many Australian television series from the late 1960s to the late 1990s and made numerous appearances in Crawford Productions police shows including ''The Sullivans'', ''Homicide'', ''Division 4'', ''Matlock Police'' and '' Chopper Squad''. He had a featured part in the 1970 ABC-TV drama series ''Dynasty''.
