Lawrence House is a Georgian architecture, Georgian townhouse in Launceston, Cornwall, Launceston, Cornwall. Built in 1753, the house is a National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty, National Trust property and a Grade II* listed building. It is leased to Launceston Town Council and used as a local museum. The house Lawrence House is a Grade II* listed building being No 9 and 9a, Castle Street, Launceston, the house, the museum and the forecourt wall all being covered by the listing. The property was first listed on 27 February 1950 under the designation "Castle Street No.9 Lawrence House, The Mayor's Parlour and Borough Museum". The William Lawrence House is a historic house in Bellefontaine, Ohio, United States. Located along Main Street (U.S. Route 68) north of the city's downtown, it is historically significant as the home of William Lawrence, a prominent U.S. Representative during the late nineteenth century. Structure The house is a square two- story structure, measuring approximately on each side, and topped with a hip roof; its brick walls rest on a stone foundation with a basement. At the time of construction, the house included multiple chimneys, but with one exception these have all been removed. Other changes since the time of construction have included the replacement of multiple doors and the addition of a wing in the rear and a small stone porch on the southern side. Duke-Lawrence House, also known as Lawrence House and Shoulars House, is a historic plantation house located near Rich Square, Northampton County, North Carolina. The original western frame section was built about 1747, with the eastern brick section built between 1787 and 1796. It is a "T"-shaped Georgian style dwelling that consists of a -story, brick section and the original three bay frame section with a brick end.
