Latif Yahia ( ar, لطيف يحيى, ''Laṭīf Yaḥīa''; born 14 June 1964) is an Iraqi human rights activist, blogger and former lieutenant in the Iran–Iraq War. He is known for being the alleged former body double of Uday Hussein. Biography Yahia was born to a wealthy merchant family of Iraqi Kurdish origin who had long been settled in Baghdad. He alleges that he became Uday's double in September 1987 during the Iran–Iraq War, in which he was a lieutenant. He was born 4 days before Uday’s official birth date. At the age of 23, he was summoned from the frontlines to the presidential palace, where he discovered that Uday remembered that classmates had remarked on the resemblance between the two when they were in school together. Rashid Latif (born 14 October 1968), is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer who played for the Pakistan national cricket team in Tests and One Day Internationals from 1992 to 2003 as a right-handed wicket-keeper batsman. Air Commodore Nazir Latif SJ and Bar (10 July 1927 – 30 June 2011) was an officer in the Pakistan Air Force and a former director-general of the Operations and Plans at the Air Headquarters, Islamabad. Latif was one of the distinguished Christian pilots who participated and fought, for Pakistan side, in 1965 Indo-Pak War and the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War. Naved Latif (born 21 February 1976) is a Pakistani former cricketer who played for the Pakistan national cricket team between 2001 and 2003. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler. Domestic career During 2004/05 he started playing Twenty20 cricket. Muhammed Latif ( ar, محمد لطيف ) is an Iraqi major general, and former member of the Baath Party. The city of Fallujah was handed over to Muhammed Latif, replacing the earlier U.S. choice, Jasim Mohammed Saleh, when it was discovered that the latter had been involved in atrocities against Kurds during the Iran–Iraq War. Mojib Latif (born 29 September 1954) is a German meteorologist and oceanographer of Pakistani descent. Latif graduated with a Diplom in meteorology in 1983. He took a position as scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology in 1985. In 1987 he earned a Ph.D. in oceanography from the University of Hamburg. In 2003 he became professor at IFM-GEOMAR, Kiel, the Leibniz Institute of Marine Sciences. Mojib Latif is a regular guest at TV discussions about global warming. Mohamed Latif
Mohamed Latif ( ar, ;محمد لطيف 23 October 1909 – 17 March 1990) was an Egyptian professional footballer. He played for the clubs Al-Zamalek of Egypt and Rangers F.C. of Scotland, as well as for the Egyptian national team. Career Latif helped the Egyptian national team qualify for the 1934 World Cup, scoring three goals against the Mandatory Palestine football team during the qualification rounds. He also played at the finals tournament in Egypt's only match, against Hungary. Khalid Latif is the Executive Director and Chaplain (Imam) for the Islamic Center at New York University (NYU). In 2005, Latif was appointed the first Muslim chaplain at NYU. In 2006, Latif was appointed the first Muslim chaplain at Princeton University. Khalid Latif ( ur, ; born 4 November 1985) is a Pakistani former cricketer who has been banned for five years, for his involvement in spot-fixing. A right-handed opening batsman, Latif captained Pakistan in the 2004 U-19 Cricket World Cup win and the 2010 Asian Games bronze medal win. Career Khalid Latif was captain of the Pakistani side which won the Under-19 World Cup in 2004. He was the highest scorer for Pakistan at the 2004 U-19 World Cup, scoring 291 runs in eight innings. Air Chief Marshal (India), Air Chief Marshal Idris Hasan Latif, Param Vishist Seva Medal, PVSM (9 June 1923 – 30 April 2018) was a former air officer in the Indian Air Force.
