Landsborough Railway Station
Landsborough railway station is located on the North Coast line in Queensland, Australia. It serves the town of Landsborough in the Sunshine Coast Region. History In 1998, construction began on Platform 2. In December 2006, the State Government announced the station would be upgraded. The work was completed in late 2007, and included the building of new platforms, rainwater tanks, shelters, lighting, and toilets. A new cark park was also built. These upgrades were part of an overhaul of the Caboolture to Landsborough section of the North Coast line. The section was to be duplicated in full by 2012, but so far only the Caboolture to Beerburrum section has been completed. This is now scheduled to be completed by 2021. On the eastern side of the station, a locomotive turning triangle remains in use, making Landsborough a popular destination for steam trains from Brisbane. Landsborough is a town and a locality in the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, Australia. At the , Landsborough had a population of 4,446 people. Geography Landsborough is in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. It is situated north of the Glasshouse Mountains just off Steve Irwin Way, north of Brisbane at the base of the southern end of the Blackall Range. The North Coast railway line enters the locality from the south ( Beerwah), passes through the town in the west of the locality, and then exits the locality to the north-west (Mooloolah Valley). Nambour Railway Station
Nambour railway station is located on the North Coast line in Queensland, Australia. It serves the town of Nambour in the Sunshine Coast Region. History On 16 December 1963, the present station building was opened by Minister for Transport Gordon Chalk. On 11 August 1988, a bus station was opened outside the station by Minister for Transport Ivan Gibbs. South of the station lie stabling sidings for electric multiple units. In 2016 a major upgrade to the station commenced. Services Nambour is the terminus for City network services from Brisbane with two services daily continuing to Gympie. Mooloolaba
Mooloolaba is a coastal suburb of Maroochydore in the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, Australia. It is located north of the state capital, Brisbane, and is part of the Maroochydore urban centre. In the , Mooloolaba had a population of 7,730 people. Geography Mooloolaba is bounded on the east by the Coral Sea, on the south by the Mooloolah River, on the north by Alexandra Headland and to the west by Buderim. Sunshine Plaza is a large regional shopping centre located in Maroochydore, Queensland, and is the largest shopping centre on the Sunshine Coast. Anchor tenants included in the centre are Coles, Woolworths, Myer, Kmart, Target, Big W, H&M, David Jones, and a 12-screen Birch Carroll & Coyle cinema. The centre is currently managed by Lendlease. Sunbus Sunshine Coast was an Australian operator of bus services on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. It operates 25 services under contract to the Government of Queensland under the TransLink banner.It is one of Sunbus' operations. Springfield Central Railway Station is the terminus station of the Springfield Line in Queensland, Australia. It serves Springfield Central (the central suburb of Greater Springfield) and other nearby suburbs in the City of Ipswich.
