Lalsot is a constituency of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly covering the Lalsot Tehsil in the Dausa district of Rajsathan, India. Lalsot is one of eight assembly constituencies in the Dausa (Lok Sabha constituency). Since 2008, this assembly constituency is numbered 89 amongst 200 constituencies. Elections to the second Rajasthan Legislative Assembly were held in 1957. State Reorganization On 1 November 1956, under States Reorganisation Act, 1956, the Ajmer State, the Abu Road taluka of the Banaskantha district of Bombay State, the Sunel enclave of the Mandsaur district and the Lohara sub-tehsil of the Hissar district of the Punjab was merged with Rajasthan while the Sironj sub-division of the Kota district of Rajasthan was transferred to Madhya Pradesh. The National People's Party is a national-level political party in India, though its influence is mostly concentrated in the state of Meghalaya. The party was founded by P. A. 2023 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Election

Kirodi Lal Meena
Kirodi Lal Meena (born 3 November 1951) is an Indian politician. He has been a member of the 8th, 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, 9th and 15th Lok Sabha member, and at present he is a member of Rajya Sabha. He has been in Bharatiya Janata Party since beginning, however, he briefly left it in 2008 but rejoined it in 2018. He has served as a cabinet minister and held the portfolio of food and civil supplies. He was the only Independent Loksabha MP elected from Rajasthan in 2009 Loksabha elections. He belongs to the Meena community. Personal life Meena was born in a farmer family in 1951 in Khohra Mullah teh-mahwa dist-Dausa Rajasthan. Legislative Assembly elections were held in the Indian state of Rajasthan on 1 December 2013. Results were announced on 8 December. The incumbent ruling party Indian National Congress, led by the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, lost the elections to Vasundhara Raje-led BJP, who was being touted as the next incumbent. Pre-poll surveys Election Polling was held on 1 December in 199 assembly seats out of 200 seats. Churu constituency polling was postponed to 13 December due to death of BSP candidate Jagdish Meghwal.
