Lakeside Township is a township in Cottonwood County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 237 at the 2010 census. Lakeside Township was organized in 1870, and so named on account of the numerous lakes within its borders. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of , of which is land and , or 5.02%, is water. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 255 people, 97 households, and 80 families residing in the township. The population density was 7.6 people per square mile (2.9/km2).
