Lakehills is a census-designated place (CDP) in Bandera County, Texas, United States. The population was 5,150 at the 2010 census, making it the most populous place in Bandera county. It is part of the San Antonio Metropolitan Statistical Area. History Lakehills was originally known as Upper Medina Lake, until a post office substation was established in the area in the early 1960s. Two toll roads served the area until the late 1940s–early 1950s. Geography Lakehills is located southeast of Bandera and west of Downtown San Antonio. The town is on Medina Lake.
