Lake Gračanica
Badovc Lake is an artificial reservoir on the river Gračanka two kilometers above Gračanica, built in 1963–1966 in order to supply city of Pristina with water. The dam height of 52 m, a width of 246 m, was built in Badovc ravine below Gollak mountains, near the mine "Rainwater". When it is full, the lake is long and up to wide, maximum depth is 30 m, a total volume of 26 million cubic meters of water. The lake has a catchment area of . In February 2014, water levels were threatened, due to a very dry winter. Gračanica, Kosovo
Gračanica ( sr-cyr, Грачаница) or Graçanicë ( sq-definite, Graçanica), is a town and municipality located in Pristina District in central Kosovo. As of 2011, it has an estimated population of 10,675 inhabitants, though most Serbs boycotted the Kosovo government's attempt at conducting a census. It is centered around the Gračanica Monastery, ten kilometers east of Pristina. Gollak
Gollak ( sq-definite, Gollaku, sr, Гољак, Goljak) or Gallap ( sq-definite, Gallapi) is a mountainous and ethnographic region in the eastern part of Kosovo and partially in Serbia, bordering the Llap region to the North, the Kosovo field to the west, the Anamorava valley to the south and straddling along the border with Serbia. The cities of Prishtina and Gjilan in Kosovo are located by the mountains. The highest peak, ''Gollak-Lisica'', has an elevation of above sea level. Batllava Lake; sr, Batlavsko jezero, name=a refers to both an artificial lake and resort located in Kosovo. History Batllava Lake's dam started to be built in 1961 and was finished in 1965. Pristina, the capital city of Kosovo, is one of the municipalities with the most severe water shortages in the country. Citizens of Pristina have to cope with daily water curbs due to the lack of rainfall and snowfall which has left the city's water supplies in a dreadful condition. The current water resources do not fulfill the needs of the overgrowing population of Pristina. The water supply comes from the two main reservoirs of Batllava and Badovci. However, there are many problems with the water supply that comes from these two reservoirs which supply 92% of the population in Pristina.
