''La Ragazza di Trieste'', internationally released as ''The Girl from Trieste'', is a 1982 Italian romance-drama film directed by Pasquale Festa Campanile and based on a novel of the same name written by the director. It recounts a doomed love affair between a conventional man and a mentally unstable girl with suicidal tendencies. Plot Dino, a comic book illustrator, has a house by the sea near Trieste. While he is sitting drawing at the beach café one morning, he sees the rescue of a beautiful young woman who has tried to drown herself. He offers her a towel to cover herself, which she returns next day and thanks him by making love before she disappears. Each struck by the other, they meet at intervals but apart from her name, which is Nicole, he is only given evasions and fantasies. Jean-Claude Brialy (30 March 1933 – 30 May 2007) was a French actor and film director. Early life Brialy was born in Aumale (now Sour El-Ghozlane), French Algeria, where his father was stationed with the French Army. Brialy moved to mainland France with his family in 1942. He was an alumnus of the Prytanée National Militaire. When he was 21 years old, he went to Paris to work as an actor. Romano Puppo
Romano Puppo (25 March 1933 – 11 May 1994) was an Italian stuntman and actor. Life and career Born in Rome, Puppo debuted in 1961 in the Mauro Bolognini's drama '' Careless'', and after a number of very minor roles he soon became a regular of Italian genre cinema in roles of henchmen and villains. Mainly active in Spaghetti Westerns and Poliziotteschi films, he was also cast as the Paolo Villaggio's antagonist in a number of comedies. He was hired as Lee Van Cleef's stuntman and double stand-in by director Gianfranco Parolini for his ''Sabata'' trilogy, and was one of his pallbearers in 1989. He served as his stuntman in a number of films including '' Sabata'' (1969), ''Commandos'' (1968) along Giampiero Albertini, and ''The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'' (1966) along Benito Stefanelli.
