La Buena Vida (The Good Life) is a Spanish indie pop group from San Sebastián, Spain. The band was formed in 1988 and continues to make music as of today. They have recorded 7 albums and 14 EPs. Their music is a form of pop also known as the Donosti Sound, a 1990s indie pop movement in San Sebastián. Biography The band's career can be divided into two stages. Initially, their music bore many similarities in sound and attitude with groups known as "twee pop", in particular those of the legendary UK label Sarah Records and of their countrymen Aventuras de Kirlian. They were also influenced by pop music of the late 1960s like Love, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Velvet Underground, Honeybus, Pic Nic and Vainica Doble, with touches of bossa nova and soul. They have also recognized the influence of French chanson (Serge Gainsbourg and Françoise Hardy). ''Familia'' is the third studio album by Cuban-American singer and songwriter Camila Cabello, released on April 8, 2022, through Epic Records. Tiny Desk Concerts
Tiny Desk Concerts is a video series of live concerts hosted by NPR Music at the desk of ''All Songs Considered'' host Bob Boilen in Washington, D.C. The first Tiny Desk Concert came about in 2008 after Boilen and NPR Music editor Stephen Thompson left South by Southwest frustrated that they couldn't hear the music over the crowd noise. Thompson joked that the musician, folk singer Laura Gibson, should just perform at Boilen's desk. A month later Boilen arranged for her to do just that, making an impromptu recording and posting it online. The name is taken from Boilen's 1970s psychedelic dance band called Tiny Desk Unit. The series has previously drawn criticism for narrowness in the musical genres it includes—described as focused on " hipster-infused indie rock" by Zachary Crockett at ''Vox''—to the exclusion of genres like country and hip-hop. Plot Teresa (Aline Küppenheim), Edmundo (Roberto Farias), Mario (Eduardo Paxeco), and Patricia (Paula Sotelo) are four inhabitants of the city of Santiago de Chile whose lives intersect in public places but rarely come together to communicate.
