Marc Camoletti (16 November 1923 Р18 July 2003) was a French playwright best known for the farce '' Boeing-Boeing''. Early life Camoletti was born a French citizen in Geneva, Switzerland, though his family had Italian origins. His grandfather was the architect who designed the concert venue Victoria Hall in Geneva, the Mus̩e d'art et d'histoire and the H̫tel des postes du Mont-Blanc. Marc Camoletti was a painter before starting a theatrical career. Career Camoletti's theatrical career began in 1958 when three of his plays were presented simultaneously in Paris, the first, '' La Bonne Anna'', running for 1,300 performances and going on to be performed throughout the world. René de Obaldia (22 October 1918 – 27 January 2022) was a French playwright and poet. He was elected to the Académie française on 24 June 1999. Biography He was the great-grandson of José Domingo de Obaldía, the second President of Panama. He grew up in Paris, studying at the Lycée Condorcet before being mobilised for the army in 1940. Taken prisoner, he was sent to Stalag VIII-C (in Sagan). He was then sent to the in on 26 June 1940, then to a commando at Auras an der Oder to clear a forest. Danny Boy et ses Pénitents is a French rock'n'roll, twist and beat band of the 1960s whose singer was Danny Boy, real name Claude Piron, born on 25 January 1936 in Saint-Pierre-de-Cormeilles (Eure). The four musicians (Penitents) who accompanied Danny Boy were wearing a balaclava. Claude Piron can be considered one of the first French rock singers.
