Robert Dornhelm (born 17 December 1947 in Temesvár, Romania) is an Austrian film and television director. Biography Dornhelm is of Jewish descent. He has worked on numerous television programmes and has also released such movies as '' Echo Park'', ''The Venice Project'', '' Der Unfisch'', and '' A Further Gesture''. In 1998 ''Der Unfisch'' won the Citizen's Choice Award at the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival. He directed the 1977 documentary film ''The Children of Theatre Street'', which was nominated for an Academy Award. Dornhelm directed the television miniseries '' Anne Frank: The Whole Story'' (2001), for which he was nominated for an Emmy Award. He also directed the new TV adaptation '' Spartacus'' (2004) and the 2011 film '' The Amanda Knox Story''. Boaz (; Hebrew: בֹּעַז ''Bōʿaz''; ) is a biblical figure appearing in the Book of Ruth in the Hebrew Bible and in the genealogies of Jesus in the New Testament and also the name of a pillar in the portico of the historic Temple in Jerusalem. The word is found 24 times in the Scriptures, two being in Greek (in the form "Βοόζ (Booz)"). Ioan Holender
Ioan Holender (born Johann Hollaender, he, יואן הולנדר, born 18 July 1935) is a Romanian born Austrian opera baritone and administrator. Holender was born in Timișoara, Romania. His family is of Jewish ancestry, and growing up, he spoke three languages. His father owned a factory in Timișoara, which was expropriated in 1948. Holender studied mechanical engineering at the Polytechnic University of Timișoara. He worked as a tennis coach and a director's assistant until he and his family emigrated to Austria, where his mother was residing. He intended to continue his engineering studies, but became interested in singing. After completing his music studies, he was an operatic baritone and concert singer with the Klagenfurt Stadttheater. In 1966, he began to work at the Starka Concert Agency, which he eventually took over and whose prestige he increased.
